Our Cancellation Policy
What happens if I donβt want to hire those speakers anymore? Will I get charged? And how much? π
At Gecko, we have our cancellation policy to ensure the protection of both our borrowers and lenders. Hereβs how it works:
Borrowers are provided with the following options:
- Free Cancellation π
- 48 Hour Cancellation π
- 24 Hour Cancellation β°
- 3 Hour Cancellation π
Free Cancellation (Before the 48 Hour Period) π:
If the borrower chooses to cancel anytime before the 48 hour period of the item being agreed to be picked-up or delivered, it can be cancelled without any charges or fees π. The borrower is then eligible for a full refund. π
48 Hour Cancellation (Fee of 50%) π:
If the borrower chooses to notify the lender or company to cancel borrowing an item within 48 hours π of arranged pickup or delivery, a cancellation fee of 50% will be deducted from the funds held in Geckoβs stripe account.
24 Hour Cancellation (Fee of 100%) β°:
If the borrower chooses to notify the lender or company to cancel borrowing an item within 24 hours π of arranged pick up or delivery, a cancellation fee of 100% will be deducted from the funds held in Geckoβs stripe account π°.
3 Hour Cancellation (For Bookings made within 48 Hours) π:
If the borrower has made a booking within 48 hours π and decides to cancel their booking already, we have provided a 3 hour time window π to notify the lender or the company of the cancellation. However, if they fail to cancel their booking within the 3 hour window π, the above mentioned cancellation period policies π will be in place.
