A Pioneer RX3 setup with main speakers, twin subwoofers, a separate DJ listening speaker and one Vonyx DB3 booth. The booth monitor gives the DJ a listening position alongside the audience sound system, useful when the room speakers are directed away from the console.

A listening speaker for the DJ position
The monitor belongs to the existing priced sound kit, which also supplies the two mains and two subs. Its job is to provide programme sound at the DJ position; it is not another front-of-house speaker added to an audience-capacity calculation. Check its position and level as part of the DJ's setup.
Keep the booth connections intentional
Agree the output paths from the RX3 to the room system and the listening speaker, with appropriate levels and safe cable routes. The supplied kit identifies a Behringer Eurolive 8-inch booth monitor. Confirm its exact model and connections with Vibes before the event.
Finish the area without adding unnecessary effects
The DB3 includes its integral desk and cover alternatives. No lights, microphones or DJ performer are included. Tell Vibes what else the programme needs so any additions can be matched to the venue and the person operating the setup.

Questions before you hire
Why have a separate booth monitor?
It lets the DJ hear the programme at the performance position while the main speakers are placed for the audience. The monitor position and volume should be checked as part of the setup.
Does a booth monitor increase the number of guests covered?
It is intended for the DJ's listening position, not as an automatic extension of the audience sound system. Room coverage still needs to be planned from the main system and venue layout.
Which monitor model is supplied?
The existing kit identifies a Behringer Eurolive 8-inch booth monitor. Confirm the exact model and connections with Vibes; no different monitor model is promised by this package.
