The TURBOSOUND NUQ8 AN features a robust 600W Class-D amplifier by KLARK TEKNIK which ensures high-efficiency and superb control over the entire audio spectrum. Coupled with a precision 8" low-frequency driver with a high-excursion capability, it delivers a punchy and clear bass response. The high-frequency range is managed by an aluminium dome 1” neodymium motor compression driver, housed in a rotatable converging-elliptical waveguide for a 100 x 60° (horizontal x vertical) dispersion, ensuring sound reaches every corner of the venue.
Extendibility is a key feature, with ULTRANET connectivity allowing seamless integration with compatible devices over a single CAT5 cable, supporting up to 16 channels of digital audio. This enables straightforward link-ups with mixers, stage boxes, and other audio network elements without complex wiring.
Meticulously crafted, the loudspeaker’s trapezoidal cabinet is made from 12mm birch plywood, finished in a rugged, semi-matte black paint that withstands the rigours of frequent transport and setup. The front grille is a powder-coated perforated steel, protecting the advanced drivers from impact and environmental elements.
Practically designed, it incorporates multiple rigging points and a 35mm pole socket for diverse mounting options, whether flown, suspended, or pole-mounted.
