Key to the Ui16's exceptional sound processing are the legendary Harman technologies, incorporating industry-respected names such as dbx®, Digitech®, and Lexicon®. These include sophisticated dbx AFS2 feedback suppression, Digitech amp modelling, and Lexicon effects such as reverb, delay, and chorus, enhancing any live audio to professional standards.
For inputs, each channel on the Ui16 includes a 4-band parametric EQ, high-pass filter, compressor, de-esser, and noise gate, all fully recallable and remote-controlled. Outputs are not left behind, with a 31-band graphic EQ, noise gate, and compressor available to tailor the sound perfectly to the venue's acoustics.
Further, the Ui16 supports real-time frequency analysis (RTA) on both inputs and outputs, ensuring optimal sound quality and ease of setup. The mixer also features extensive control options such as subgroups, mute groups, view groups, and more.
For additional flexibility, the Ui16 has a 2-channel USB interface for straightforward audio playback and recording. Show and snapshot recall with channel safes and security lockouts are also included for precise control during performances.
