Take your lighting control to the next level with the LSC Clarity VX20 Wing, a robust and versatile external hardware platform designed for professional lighting designers and technicians. This sophisticated control wing seamlessly integrates with both PC and Mac systems using a USB connection, providing enhanced control over lighting setups without relying on traditional mouse inputs.
The VX20 Wing builds upon the capabilities of its predecessor, the VX10, by adding ten additional faderless playbacks, MIDI In and Thru connections, and an integrated trackball. This trackball facilitates precise control over attributes such as intensity, position, beam, and focus and doubles as a computer mouse, offering unparalleled ease and efficiency in navigating and manipulating lighting elements.
Equipped with a backlit LCD display for each playback, the VX20 allows for accurate monitoring and adjustments. Each playback has its own Go and Pause/Back buttons, along with a central Master Go button, making it straightforward to initiate and modify light scenes on the fly. The extended control set includes dedicated buttons for direct access to functions such as HiLite, Blind Mode, Release All, and Clear All, simplifying complex operations during live performances.
For connectivity, the VX20 comes with four DMX512 RDM-compatible outputs, enhancing its compatibility with a wide range of lighting devices. It also features a secure compartment to house the Clarity dongle, safeguarding your software licence during use. Furthermore, the wing includes six external dry contact inputs for versatile remote control options.
This wing is not only powerful but also user-friendly, featuring a built-in universal power supply for reliable operation. The addition of a socket for an optional LED worklight and an inbuilt USB hub further extends its functionality, making the LSC Clarity VX20 Wing an indispensable tool for any lighting professional looking to push creative boundaries and streamline their workflow. Note, the VX20 does not operate with the free version of Clarity, ensuring dedicated support for professional use.
